1. Who we are

DHM Finserv is the brand used by Harshit Zaveri for financial distribution and related services. Harshit Zaveri is an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-317068). The registration is held by the individual, not by the DHM Finserv brand.

This policy explains how personal information is handled when you visit dhmfinserv.com, send an enquiry, subscribe to updates or use our investor risk-profile form. In this policy, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refer to Harshit Zaveri operating under the DHM Finserv brand.

2. Information we collect

Contact and enquiries: your name, email address, telephone number, message and any other details you choose to provide.

Investor risk profile: your name, age, contact details, occupation, annual income, investment experience, goals, investment horizon, risk preferences, response to market movements, preferred investments, liquidity needs, signature and date.

Newsletter subscriptions: your email address and any name or contact details you provide when subscribing.

Website usage: our hosting provider and website tools may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, pages visited and basic usage logs. Cookies or similar technologies may also be used, as explained below.

If you later request investment onboarding or transactions, additional information may be required through the relevant provider’s authorised process. Please do not send passwords, one-time passwords, card details or unnecessary identity documents through ordinary website enquiry forms.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, arrange a call or meeting, understand your requirements, provide mutual fund distribution services and maintain necessary service records.

Risk-profile information helps us understand your investment objectives, ability and willingness to take risk, time horizon and liquidity needs when serving you as a distributor. Completing the form does not itself place an investment order or create a SEBI-registered investment advisory relationship.

We use newsletter subscription details to send the updates you requested. You may ask us to stop these updates at any time. Website usage information may be used to maintain the website, identify errors, prevent misuse and understand how visitors use it.

We may also process information where needed to meet applicable legal, regulatory or record-keeping requirements, or to handle complaints and disputes.

4. Your choices and consent

Please provide only the information needed for your enquiry or requested service. Where consent is required, we will seek it for the relevant purpose. A general enquiry or risk-profile submission should not be treated as permission for unrelated promotional messages.

You may withdraw consent for consent-based processing or unsubscribe from promotional updates by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. Some services may no longer be possible without the information they require, and records may need to be kept where the law requires it.

5. When information may be shared

We do not sell your personal information.

Information may be shared with website hosting, maintenance, email or other service providers where needed to operate the website or provide the service you request.

For investment onboarding, servicing or transactions you request, relevant information may be shared with Asset Management Companies (AMCs), Registrar and Transfer Agents (RTAs), MF Utilities (MFU) and other authorised providers, where necessary. These organisations may handle information under their own privacy policies and legal obligations; they are not all merely processors acting on our instructions.

We may disclose information where required by law, a regulator or a lawful request from an authority, or where necessary to handle a legal claim. Sharing should be limited to the information needed for the relevant purpose.

6. Cookies, calculators and external websites

The website may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functions and, where enabled, usage measurement or analytics. You can manage or block cookies in your browser, although some features may not work as intended. Where applicable, non-essential technologies should be used only after the required choice or consent.

SIP and other calculators are tools for illustrations. Do not enter identifying or confidential information where it is not needed. Technical website logs may still be collected when you use these tools.

Links to MFU or other external websites take you to services operated by others. Information entered directly on those websites is handled under their privacy policies. Please review those policies before providing information.

7. How long information is kept

We retain personal information for the purpose for which it was collected and for any necessary legal, regulatory, accounting or dispute-related requirements. Retention depends on the type of record and the applicable obligation; this policy does not specify one period for all records.

When information is no longer needed, it should be deleted or anonymised, subject to applicable requirements and the normal lifecycle of backups. A deletion request may not cover records we must lawfully retain.

8. Security

We aim to take reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle and to limit access to people and service providers who need it. No website, email system or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us if you believe information submitted to us has been misused or exposed.

9. Access, correction, deletion and complaints

You may contact us to request information about the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate or incomplete details, request deletion, withdraw consent or raise a privacy complaint. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will explain if a request cannot be met because of a legal or regulatory requirement.

These request channels are available under this policy. Any statutory rights and obligations, including under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and related rules, apply to the extent the relevant provisions are in force and applicable. This policy is not a certification of legal compliance.

10. Children and guardian enquiries

Parents or lawful guardians may contact us about investments for a minor. Children should not independently submit personal information through the website. Where a service requires a minor’s information, it should be provided through the appropriate guardian-led process with any consent or verification required by applicable law.
